FMS — Furniture Management Solutions

Our Services

Everything a hospital facilities team needs to track, maintain, and move furniture

From cataloging what you already own to responsibly retiring what's reached end-of-life — one platform covers the full furniture lifecycle.

Inventory Management

Every item your facility owns gets cataloged with condition, category, location, and quantity available — a single source of truth your team can search before any new purchase order goes out.

  • Cataloging by category, condition, and location
  • Live quantity-available tracking as items move
  • Searchable across departments and buildings
  • Condition grading (excellent / good / fair) at intake

Your team sees this catalog directly in the Hospital Portal.

Furniture Maintenance & Reupholstery

Rather than replacing worn seating or damaged casework outright, FMS routes items through a repair and reupholstery workflow — extending usable life at a fraction of the cost of new furniture.

  • Structural repair and hardware replacement
  • Reupholstery in medical-grade, cleanable fabrics
  • Condition re-grading after service
  • Return to catalog once restored to service

Moving, Installation & Storage

When furniture needs to move between departments, floors, or facilities, FMS coordinates the logistics — pickup, delivery, installation, and temporary storage — so your team isn't managing a moving crew on top of everything else.

  • Scheduled pickup and delivery between departments
  • On-site installation and placement
  • Temporary secure storage during transitions
  • Status tracking from request through completion

Decommissioning & Redistribution

End-of-life items are retired responsibly, while furniture that's still usable gets flagged and redistributed to another department or facility instead of sitting unused or heading to a landfill.

  • Responsible retirement of end-of-life items
  • Automatic surplus flagging for still-usable furniture
  • Matching surplus to open department requests
  • Documentation for facility asset records

Barcode / QR / RFID Asset Tracking

We're building item-level scan tracking — barcode, QR, and RFID — directly into the platform, so condition and location updates can happen with a scan instead of a manual entry. Not yet available today.

  • Scan-to-update condition and location
  • Faster intake for large batches of items
  • Planned support for handheld and fixed RFID readers
  • Full history tied to each item's tag
