Relocating a pediatric unit over a single weekend

Moving a pediatric unit leaves little room for error: rooms must be ready for patients on Monday morning, and sleeper chairs and cribs are needed at both ends of the move.

FMS inventoried each room in advance, scheduled cleaning and transport by floor, and staged surplus items from the warehouse to cover gaps during the transition.

The unit reopened on schedule with every item accounted for, and leftover furniture from the old floors returned to the warehouse for other hospitals to request.
